Hello members, I bought 10 HP ProBook 6570b's from an auction. These units became without any hard drives. I have installed SSDs to them making them ready to be installed.
I can't boot from USB nor DVD, as they are simply not listed in the "Boot Device Options" -menu. I would like to install either Windows 7 or Windows 10, if possible.
According to my knowledge, these laptops bioses cannot be reset using a third party tool. I have contacted the auctioneer, and they didn't know the passwords either. I hope someone could be so nice and help me out. Thank you in advance

Hi,
For this Model, you will need to Contact HP Business support - they should be able to send you a customised SMC.bin file ( you'll need a seperate smc for each machine ) which you can use at boot to reset the password.
You can contact HP Business Support in your country via
http://www8.hp.com/us/en/contact-hp/ww-phone-assist.html
or
https://support.hp.com/us-en/contact-hp
Just to note, don't try removing the rtc battery. It won't remove the password, but it will reset the clock - as smc files are time coded, a large disparity between the system clock and the time encoded in the smc will cause it to fail.
