BIOS Password

HP Recommended
HP Pavilion 15 cc series
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I've been using my HP Pavilion for about 3 years and it's a very good notebook as I am just starting mobile app developing I've been wanting to use a virtual mobile emulator to test my apps but I can't use it it crashes randomly and gives me an error that I need to have virtualization enabled.
Knowing that it gets enabled through the BIOS I tried to enter it to enable virtualization but there was a password on it and I had forgotten it.
Now I really need to access the BIOS to enable virtualization but I can't because of the password.
Could you guys pleas help me ?
Thanks in advance.

Sorry, no -- as we have no way of accessing the BIOS password and you have no way, without knowing it, of resetting it.

This is why you write these things down!

For BIOS or power-on password resets, because the password is encoded onto a chip on the motherboard, replacement of that motherboard is required. For more information, read this HP thread:

If you are not prepared to spend the money to get HP to replace the motherboard, you would have to take the PC to a local repair facility to see if they can do it for you -- we can not assist in that in any way.
