I've started a new Windows Installation installed the drivers and software and then I've used the Bios Update found on the Laptops product and support page . Now the laptop does nothing, tried everything. It doesn't flash any BIOS. Worst company ever can't find any support no phone numbers nothing. Don;t ever use any bios update ever from HP. You caused me a huge problem. The laptop was my manager's and now I am going to lose my job. Thanks to HP.

Hi @Johnyv1,

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to assist you.

I see that you are facing an issue with your Laptop that has a black screen after the BIOS update.

Kindly refer to the steps on this link to update the BIOS on your laptop once again and let me know if that resolves the issue.

Make sure you keep only the charger plugged in while updating the BIOS for your PC.

Click on the + sign next to BIOS and then download the file.

Open the file and follow the on-screen instructions to complete the update.

Please mark this post as “Accepted Solution” if the issue is resolved and if you feel this reply was helpful click “Yes”.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a great day ahead!

Nothing worked and I had to sent it to reflash the BIOS chip. Please remove the BIOS update section from the product's page in not to cause problem to people. Thanks
