I recently went into HP system diagnostics and tested my hardware then also downloaded an update for my BIOS. After my computer restarted it had to finish the update and it kept failing, restarting, trying to update again, then failing again with the message saying something like "...Bios Image file specified did not pass validation". I tried going into the BIOS then putting setup to default saving and trying again, it did not work. I went into safe mode and then went to device manager and wen to HP Notebook system BIOS Firmware F.26, it said " This device cannot work properly until you restart your computer (Code 14)". I restarted the computer, and I was able to finally log back into my profile instead of the continuous loop. However, it still notifies me that I will need to update it, is there a way to delete the update that I installed so that I can avoid the inevitable failed updates when I restart the computer again?
