Elitebook 820 G2
Microsoft Windows 7 (64-bit)

Hello, I'm trying to configure a custom URL for updating our Elitebooks (820G1, G2, 850 G3) but I can't find any information how to do that.

What I did already:

- install webserver, root folder is accessible with http://10.11.12.13 (example IP)

- insert this URL in the BIOS under Update System BIOS -  Network Update Settings - Custom URL.

I am not sure what I have to put in the folder... I tried it the way we used BIOS Updates on USB Sticks, but I can't make it work. When I try to update it, I get the message "There was an error downloading the BIOS catalog for your Network BIOS Update. The catalog filename ist http://10.11.12.13/225a/225a.xml.

Error: There is an error with your network server connectin. Error Code: 404

Is there a tutorial how to do that?

Kind Regards

LLips

Ok I just found the answer. In this manual is everything described: http://h10032.www1.hp.com/ctg/Manual/c04460979
