Hi, I have Pro Book 640 G1 with BIOS administrator password. This notebook was initially property of the company I worked for, but after 2 years of usage I received it for myself (It is a standard procedure). I forgot to check if the BIOS is locked. I need to boot from USB, but I see only Notebook Hard Drive and Notebook Ethernet as Boot Options (Press F9). I can`t load BIOS, because it is locked with Administrator password. HDD is empty. There is no OS installed. I`ve removed the plug of the cmos battery with no result. I tried support procedure, got to virtual chat agent, vca checked warranty status, cancelled connection with live agent and point me to forums. Nice....Any suggestions for installing OS and/or resetting BIOS password? Any real advice will be appreciated.
