Product: pro x2 612 g1 tablet
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hello! I can't install suggested BIOS update because I have been asked to enter a BIOS password, but I don't have/know one as the seller didn't give it to me (he doesn't know as well). Please help me! My serial number is 5CG61268HM and product number is G8W35AV.

If this were mine, I would take or send it back to the seller and demand a full refund and we can not assist you with the BIOS password problem.

 

For BIOS or power-on password resets, read this HP thread: https://support.hp.com/us-en/document/c06368824.

If you are not prepared to spend the money to get HP to replace the motherboard for BIOS password resets, you could take the PC to a local repair facility to see if they can do it for you -- but we are unable to assist in that.
