I have a customer who has brought in an HP laptop and asked me to install a fresh copy of Win 10.  I powered it up and immediately received an Administrative password request.  I took the system apart and removed the CMOS battery hoping that would reset it but, of course it didn't.  I called the customer back and asked what they thought the password might be.  They gave me 3 different things they say it could be.  I've tried every combination of Capital letters, etc.  Nothing is letting me in.  I used to be HP certified in a number of areas, always loved the products, and recommend them to all my customers.  I don't want to have to call these good people back and say they need to throw away their laptop because there's nothing I can do for them...outside of replacing the motherboard.  Certainly HP must have a backdoor code associated with this serial number, right?  I called tech support and 2 different people said they don't deal with BIOS passwords.  Anyone have a solution...PLEASE??
