Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hi there,

 

Windows 10 asked me to confirm my account, which i did. After i validated the microsoft account, the HP security software that is installed changed the BIOS password to a temp one "check....something". I memmorized it for the 3 first days but then i forgot what it was and didn't write it.

 

I think that the service Pre-Boot Security for HP ProtectTools was the one responsible to change it.

 

Is there a way to reset the BIOS password or show the atual password?
