I have a Compaq Mini 110c
Product No. vm146uar#aba
serial No. [removed]
No master or hash generated BIOS password works.
Not any proceedure works as well. I tried the RTC battery and jumper proceedures tha those was a wast of time.
I tried hard resets, power resets and vudu. Nothing..... talking to HP was usless.
So how do I get past this BIOS password? There is a reset proceedure but I can not find it.

The first thing that's worth checking is if the 9th character in your halt code ( 2MC9422LOD ) is actually 0 (Zero) as opposed to the letter 'O'.
Reboot and try entering 74eov77k1t

Just to make sure..you got the 10 character code and used the generator here:
and nada?
It is case sensitive and be careful not to confuse number 1 and letter l or number 0 and letter o

Thank you for your reply
Yes I did put in the correct code and have been to the same site many times. I even tried a linghthy master password list.
Here is the skinny on this netbook.
The hard drive was not working and needed replaced. I have never got it to boot up.
Once I placed a new HDD in and started up,, It flyes past the area for selection to "Change boot order" " and the bios information plage.
The notebook, does not let you select anything. f10 is for the bios and f9 is for changing boot order. as a matter of fact the keybord works fine but there is NO KEY on this notebook will get you into the bios, recovery, or anywhere.

Hi
So you have a Compaq Mini 110c-1100DX PC, with an unknown OS and an unknown BIOS passcode?
Tricky then. Still if you cant/wont share then no-one can really help you.
A BIOS code that starts with the letter I is not solvable using bios-pw.org, but may be solvable if posted as a new thread.
if it has BitLocker that is an added complication.
However...
Starting the Setup Utility
The Setup Utility is a ROM-based information and customization utility that can be used even when your operating system is not working.
The utility reports information about the device and provides settings for startup, security, and other preferences.
To start the Setup Utility:
Open the Setup Utility by turning on or restarting the device, and then pressing F10
while the “F10= BIOS Setup Options” message is displayed in the lower-left corner of the screen.

I believe that HP Mini's use the serial number for the BIOS password.
So use the code provided after inputting the serial number in https://bios-pw.org/ which should be 74eov77kjt

Yes "74eov77kjt" is the code i am given whe i go to " https://bios-pw.org/ ". and all in lower case letters. But it is incorrect. I does nothing but ask me again up to three times before givin me the same code or serial number.
I can hit f10 or f 9, f11 all of the fuction buttons for that case and still not get the bios up. It does pop up breifly but only a blink before going to the bios password lock. the keyboard works fine it just bypasses every thing and gose straight to the Bios password lock

f10 does nothing and will not do anything in this case and I am giving out all the information I have. when this netbook starts up it goes dierectloy to the Bios lock. no matter what button your hitting on the device. and yes the keyboard works greatits not that.
