HP pavilion 15- n079sr

Hello. Sadly, today my old HP laptop stop working. When you press Power button, the screen stays black and only caps lock button blinks white twice.  I found out thats problem may be in BIOS, so i need files to reinstall and recovery it on my laptop. Please, send me the necessary files to create a BIOS recovery on a USB drive. I have HP pavilion 15- n079sr and i can`t find BIOS for it

Hi, @viktor9999

Below is the link to the latest BIOS update I could find for your notebook:

F.72:

Info link:

Exe link:

Greetings @viktor9999

Welcome to the HP Forum.

Yes, a startup 2:2 error code could be a corrupted BIOS.

HP is not providing any drivers for your PC at this time.

@Paul_Tikkanen can sometimes find older: HP drivers and BIOS updates.

Thank you, everything worked out. Could you please send me the full driver package for this model?

You're very welcome.

HP retires support for consumer PC's when they reach 10 years of age which is why you couldn't find any drivers on the support page.

It would be a lot of work for me to produce all of the drivers from the HP FTP site, but this reputable 3rd party website has the drivers you need for your notebook.

Their BIOS update they have is considerably older than the one I gave you, so you don't need that file.
