HP Recommended

Hi, I am using an HP Pavilion laptop(15-ec0101AX, Ryzen 5 Quad Core 3550H).

The hp support assistant recommended a BIOS update and I did it. On restarting my computer, it is showing "System BIOS is being recovered". After a while it is showing a black screen with the message "BIOS Recovery failed" and that since BIOS is corrupted it will automatically recover on the next restart. This is continuing on a loop. Please help. 

Note- I did not turn off the power at any point (Plus how is that possible since my charger was connected and it had sufficient battery percentage left).
