Hi ,
I have a HP Pavilion x2 - 10-n000nf (ENERGY STAR) and my BIOS file is missing or corrupted (BIOS application error 501) so I tried to create an HP BIOS recovery USB flash to recover my device but it didn't worked i tried the HP tutorial said that this was either my PC who doesn't have this functionality or either my hard disk having a problem .
Do you have any solution to that ?
I used this tutorial :

Thanks for getting back to us.
This looks like a software issue. I would suggest you please perform a complete Operating System Reinstallation and let me know the outcome of it.
