BIOS update safe on Windows 10 Home with Drive Encryption Active?

Can I safely run the HP BIOS update on Windows 10 Home with drive encryption active?  I know on Pro need to suspend BitLocker or else will need to enter the encryption key to indicate not malware.  Can I safely allow HP update to do the recommended BIOS update or is there a chance I will get locked out after the update?

Here's the thing.  When you install the update on your system it is already encrypted.  Its command structure while operating in the BIOS is not encrypted as it is using binary command structure.  Therefore I would not anticipate any problem.  You can also upgrade the bios through boot up service.  Look at the bios section for your computer model.

What confused me is that even though running Home version of Windows 10 HP uses TPM and BitLocker.  So, I saved the BitLocker encryption key for the C volume even though I did not have access to it to suspend.  Then I ran the update and it warned me that it would automatically suspend Bi9tLocker and also recommended save the key before proceedingt.  So I proceeded and no issue came up with the latest BIOS.
