Product: HP Laptop (15-dy1024wm)
Operating System: Other
My notebook (15-dy1024wm) goes into a "Preparing Automatic Repair" screen for 1 second and then "Please wait while we install a system update" shows, and the BIOS starts to "update". After it's done, it does the same thing over and over again.
The only way to escape the loop was to open some boot thing (e.g. Startup Check) and then exit, but then it starts the loop over and over again. Downloading the BIOS update tool onto a working computer doesn't create the BIOS image file in the flash drive. Does the automatic repair thing have to do with this? Or is the BIOS corrupted?
