I have this HP Envy 360 laptop bought from John Lewis with Windows 10 pre-installed.
At some point it got upgraded to Windows 11

Last week, it prompted an "updatet and Shutdown" option so I decided to update it. As part of the update it updated the BIOS and the startup now asks for a Bitlocker key. I had never setup a bitlocker key so I do not know it.

How do I go about getting the key from HP?

btw, trying the "contact us" option on HP website just keeps going in circles to the same page

Hi @sparkhi

The following link shows you the possibilities to recover the key, there is no other option. If that does not work you will have to reinstall windows from zero.
