hp pavilion g7-1310us
Microsoft Windows 10 (32-bit)

My hp Pavilion g7-1310us notebook PC has the message (BOOTMGR IS CORRUPT. THE SYSTEM CANNOT BOOT.)  This happened after one of those regular Shutdown & Update option you get every once in a while when you are shutting down the computer. HP says it is a software issue not a hardware issue.  Has anyone seen this problem and does anybody know how to fix?

Can you try with CMOS battery removed and/or removing and reinseting RAM module.

This issue normally occurs when the update was interrupted or if NB was shut down while update was running.

Shut down the pc completely

Press the power button and immediately keep pressing the F11 key on the keyboard

Pc will boot into recovery manager, choose the recovery option there.

Do not choose restore or reset, choose only recovery

Please click “Accept as Solution ” if you feel my post solved your issue, it will help others find the solution.
