Upon starting, after seeing Windows Logo, receive Blue Screen of Death with "PAGE FAULT IN NONPAGED AREA" error code. Automatically reboots, then with Windows logo I receive "Preparing Automatic Repair." Then it reboots again. Have a feeling this is the result of a recent Windows 10 update.
Have tried pressing F2 repeatedly at start (only does start up test with no resolution) and F11 repeatedly at start (does nothing or just beeps). Can't access Advanced Start Up/Recovery options screen to troubleshoot, do a System Restore, or boot via a USB flash drive. Automated technical support from HP offered same steps as other sites, but unable to break loop. Any help would be appreciated, thanks!

@tanqueray77 Welcome to HP Forums!
If your error is typical, it will result in random BSOD crashes but between crashes, the computer will be usable. Let us use those moments to troubleshoot.
When Windows fails to start properly, you might be prompted to start in recovery mode. When this happens, the Choose an option screen displays.
If the Choose an option screen does not display, shut down your computer. Turn on your computer and repeatedly press the ESC key until the Startup Menu opens. Begin a System Recovery by pressing F11, then use the following steps to open Windows in Safe Mode.
If prompted, select your keyboard layout, then from the Choose an option screen, click Troubleshoot.
Click Advanced options.
Click Startup Settings. If the Startup Settings option does not display, follow the steps in the section Entering Safe Mode without access to Startup Settings.
Click Restart.
The computer restarts, and another Startup Settings screen opens showing a list of different startup options.
Choose the Safe Mode option you want from the Startup Settings menu:
Press the F6 key for Enable Safe Mode with Command Prompt. Safe Mode with Command Prompt starts Windows in Safe Mode with a Command Prompt window. Typically, only IT professionals use this mode.
First, check the hard drive for errors.
- Open a CMD window as an administrator.
- Type or paste ‘chkdsk /f /r’ and hit Enter.
- Allow the process to complete.
Then perform a system file check.
- Open a CMD window as an administrator.
- Type or paste ‘sfc /scannow’ and hit Enter.
- Allow the process to complete.
It might also be useful to check Windows updates and drivers as they are often the cause of Page Fault In Nonpaged Area errors.
- Navigate to Settings, Update & security.
- Click ‘Check for updates’ in the Windows update tab.
- Allow the process to complete.
- Navigate to Control Panel, Hardware, and Sound, Device Manager.
- Select hardware, right-click and ‘Update Driver Software’. Make sure you check graphics and audio drivers as well as any third party webcam, printer, and other drivers.
- Reboot and retest.
If the BSOD still occurs, let us check the Windows page file.
- Right-click ‘This PC’ in Windows Explorer and select Properties.
- Click ‘Advanced system settings’.
- In the Advanced tab click Settings in the Performance box.
- Click Change in the Virtual memory box and uncheck ‘Automatically manage paging files for all drives’.
- Set a custom size for the page file.
- Click Ok.
- Reboot.
Finally, if none of those software methods work, it’s time to check your RAM. If your computer has multiple sticks of RAM, remove one and retest. If the fault persists, change the memory slot and retest. If the error keeps occurring, consider replacing your RAM, however, let me know about the results.
