OMEN Laptop - 15-ek0013dx

My HP Omen 15 is not running on battery. The PC shuts off when I unplug. The battery does not charge and is currently at 0%. It boots up with a 601 battery error code. The laptop was working perfectly fine, and the problem appeared almost overnight. Things that I have already tried:

1. HP Support Assistant Battery Check: It says that no battery can be detected.
2. Removing battery and performing a power cycle: Problem still persists.
3. Took the laptop to a licensed PC repair shop, where they performed a battery power output check using a multimeter in front of me. The battery appears to be in good health.
4. AC Adapter test: There seems to be nothing wrong with the adapter. 
5. Updating and defaulting the BIOS. 

After trying all these, I am convinced that this could be an issue with the board. I am really disappointed in HP's decline in quality. Please let me know how I can receive official support from HP in the US.
