Hello everyone,

When I started my laptop this morning I got this error:

The Hp Bios application selected is corrupt or missing. Please install the application and try again.

and then it started normally. I  restarted the computer and the previous message did not appear again and it started normally several times.

so does the problem solved by itself or i need to do something?

please help.

Thanks

Thank you for joining HP Forums.

This is a great place to get support, find answers to your technical queries.

I see that the problem is resolved as if now.

In case the issue comes back, perform a BIOS Rollback.

Keep me posted, how it goes! However, I'll try and follow up in next 24 to 48 hours to doublecheck on the issue.

If the information I've provided was helpful, give us some reinforcement by clicking the Accepted Solution and Kudos buttons, that'll help us and others see that we've got the answers!
