Hello,
I lost the password for my laptop's bios, and need help resetting it.
I have tried getting the reset code from https://bios-pw.org/ but it did not work
My halt-code was 6B72BC07
Model: HP Beats Special Edition laptop, 15-939NR.
if there is a master password for this code, it would be super helpful!
Also, does the master code change with every reboot? I tried the reset codes multiple times, and get a different halt-code each time.
Thanks!

Hi,
Your notebook is producing a hexadecimal halt code which is stored in ram as a 'one off' and will be re-calculated after a reboot. This indicates you have one of the later AMI bios’ and unfortunately none of the current code generators will work for this - there are a couple of options.
1. Contact HP Support starting on the link below.

2. Alternatively, you may still be able to remove a power on password ( this will depend on the bios revision ) from the machine by removing the rtc cell ( leave the power board connected ) then hold down the power button for 60 seconds and leave the machine in this state for a couple of hours before re-inserting the rtc and re-assembling.
