Hi, Peter:

 

Unfortunately, HP ended the service of providing the SMC.bin file to clear BIOS passwords in 2019 citing security concerns.

 

HP's policy regarding lost or forgotten BIOS passwords can be found at the link below:

We are prohibited on this forum from providing any assistance with removing BIOS passwords.
