Hp elitebook 725 g3

Hi all,

I just reset my laptop (hp elitebook 725 g3), I went with the remove everything option as I’m regifting the laptop; upon resetting the laptop and it turning back on, the normal start up screen turns on, then a message appears saying “please wait while we install updates”

then the screen changes to bios administrator password, I have no idea what the password is as I bought this from a friend who bought it secondhand himself, I can’t seem to get off this or do anything at all, when I try random password it will just lock the system or so and restart all over again.

Currently, the laptop keeps restarting itself, I don’t know what to do

please help

thank you
