Hello! Recently my friend brought me his laptop with blinking CapsLock. BIOS failed and it needs EPROM reprogramming.  Does anyone have those files? 

Laptop Model is 15-e008sv.

Yeah, but this is .exe file. i need the rom file to reprogram the EPROM. Any idea where i can get it?

HP only supplied exe files for the BIOS in that model series. 

 

If you use the free 7-zip file utility you can extract the exe file into a folder and there are files in the folder that perhaps you can use.

 

If not, the PC is irreparable.
