At the password screen, hit enter 3 times.
If you receive a 8 digit 'halt code', post back with this code.
If you don't receive a halt code, you will have to Contact HP Business support - they should be able to send you a customised SMC.bin file which you can use at boot to reset the password.

Hi All,
I have HP EliteBook 820 G2 notebook. We pluged a new M2 SSD Disk. After all windows installation, we put a DriveLock passwork from the bios screens. When we restarted this notebook, but no password and computer is not working. Also i tried again remove this password from the bios. The bios says to me, Drive is Locked.
So i couldn^t do anything now. Can you help me?
PS: I have all master and user passwords.

Once you get a BIOS passcode you restart and use the passcode at the password prompt screen.

If the halt code you receive after 3 incorrect entries is prefixed with an i the code you get from the bios-pwd.org website will not work - you will need to post the halt code here.
