Pavilion ze2000
Microsoft Windows XP

I would need help with a very old HP Pavilion ze 2000 which I would like to 're-animate' for my 8 year old son, who wants to use this thing because I used it for many years when I came to Thailand. The laptop is actually still in a quite good shape - I bought it 2004 in a media shop close to Vienna.

The problem is that I would need the bios password, because after 3 tries to use some passwords from the internet it naturally shows 'system disabled 11805' and one has to deactivate the laptop and start the whole procedere again.

Maybe there is somehow help for my problem,

I thank upfront for every possible support,

wfg. from Thailand, F.

P.S.:

All the numbers and stickers I could find on the oldtimer:

I'm really sorry that we can not help you with this, but Community policy prohibits us from assisting you in any way with bypassing or resetting passwords.

For BIOS or power-on password resets, read this HP thread: https://support.hp.com/us-en/document/c06368824.

If you are not prepared to spend the money to get HP to replace the motherboard for BIOS password resets, you could take the PC to a local repair facility to see if they can do it for you -- but we are unable to assist in that.
