Hi,

Try these steps for the recovery: Turn off your laptop, connect the AC adapter, press and hold the Windows key + B key simultaneously. While holding these keys, press the power button for 2-3 seconds. Release the power button but continue holding the Windows key + B key. You might hear beeps, and the HP BIOS Update screen should appear. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the recovery.
