Product: HP EliteBook 840 G3 Base Model Notebook PC

Hello,

I have an EliteBook 840 G3, and I forgot the bios password.

 I tried to remember it but no chance.

Please help me to reset/erase it.

I had this on one HP ZBook G5 notebook, but could not reset the BIOS, because the BIOS Firmware was too new or the model.

Maybe you have luck on the old 840 G3 notebook, but I do not think that the BIOS reset will work when there is a BIOS password set.

 

You can try to reset the BIOS with following guide:

You need to prepare a USB-Stick with the correct BIOS files for your notebook model.
