Envy X360 13" Ryzen 5 2500u
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hi,

I am using a HP Envy X360 13' convertible laptop with Ryzen 5 2500u processor. Just got it for a few days and i've noticed something weird:

My bios date is set wrong,  meaning i can't select the year 2018 for the date. When i try to change the year it jums all over the place (2021,2031,2030,2040,2080). Tried to modify it by typing it, i type "2018" and after i press enter it jumps back to 2021.

Time is correct, and othrer settings are stored in the bios.

On every boot of windows 10 i have to set the date manually, but at restart/shutdown and even while running once, my year jumps back to 2021.

Using latest bios F.21 for the laptop, anyone else had this problem. Any ideeas on how to fix it?

Thank you

I have never seen that issue- have seen BIOS lose date/time where it reversed but never jumped ahead. I would contact HP for warranty support. Probably best way to contact them is to open HP Support Assistant and then click on the Support tab.

Hello, unfortunately I have exactly the same problem. Did you manage to solve it? I changed and rewritten the bios chip but no effect.
Thank you .
