Dealing with a locked BIOS on a used laptop is deeply discouraging, especially when it blocks you from even reinstalling Windows and using a computer you bought with your hard-earned money.
"Why do other people get solutions for this issue? We aren't wealthy. We bought a used HP laptop, but now that it's locked with a BIOS password, how can it truly feel like our own? When Windows crashes, we can't even reinstall it. That's enough—I won't be using HP laptops ever again."

Unfortunately, for problem with passwords you will need to contact an HP agent.

Here is HP's official policy regarding BIOS passwords:

You need to contact an HP agent and explain the problem, or take the PC to an HP authorized repair center.
