Product: HP ENVY x360 - 15m-ds0023dx

My HP Envy was overheating and based on this community's recommendations, I updated the BIOS, which resulted in multiple updates and restarts.  Now, when I power the laptop on, I get the black screen with the message box to enter a power on or administrator password.  This looks like a factory setting and none of the passwords/pins that I used when I first bought the laptop and have used for the past 4 years are working.  Please help!
