HP Pavilion x360 - 14-cd0077tu
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)
  • My HP Pavilion x360-14 cd0077tu has a black screen with caps lock flashing and fans making sound . The display is off all the time. I remember it was having some bios recovery the same day this happened. I did the WIN+B shortcut function as well as the usb flash drive method . The USB is a bit old so that might be the issue but do you have any other solution?

You may download and install the latest version of the HP Hardware Diagnostics from the website: https://support.hp.com/in-en/help/hp-pc-hardware-diagnostics

Run an extensive system test by following the steps listed below:
1. Hold the power button for at least five seconds to turn off the computer.
2. Turn on the computer and immediately press Esc repeatedly, about once every second.
3. When the menu appears, press the F2 key.
4. From the main menu, click System Test and then click on Extensive Test.
5. Click Run once.
