Hello Everyone,
This morning, I decided I should do what a responsible PC owner should do and scan my system for malware. I looked up a guide, and that guide instructed me on how to scan my system using the built in Microsoft Defender scan options. I ran a full scan of my device, it took a couple hours, and it finished. It said there were no problems found. Then, I decided to be extra safe and run an offline scan because apparently, it can detect malware that is harder to detect. I select the scan and click "scan now" after a couple seconds my screen goes black. I figured this was normal because the scan is supposed to restart my PC after "about 15 minutes". Well, 15 minutes pass, and nothing happens. Then 30 minutes pass, then 2 hours pass and nothing happens. Thinking that maybe it just shut off, I try to turn it on myself. But it doesn't boot. I try hard resetting, still nothing. I try disconnecting the battery and then restarting and I get the following message:
"The CMOS checksum is invalid. The CMOS will be reset to the default configuration when rebooted. Please check your BIOS Setup options to see if they change.
CMOS Reset (502)
ENTER - Reboot the system

After lingering for a couple seconds, the screen goes black again and remains that way. Pressing enter does nothing either. I also feel that it is worth mentioning that the caps lock key is flashing. It emits two longer flashes, then two faster flashes. So I visit the website, and I try to go through the steps, but the website wont even let me talk to anyone for support because I need to enter my serial number and when I do so I am given the following error:
"Please enter a valid serial number"
Seeing as how I feel that I have done all of the trouble shooting that I can do alone, I came here hoping for some guidance. I would deeply appreciate any assistance that anyone can provide.
