Hi @Xusrav, Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

It sounds like your HP Omen 15-dc0008tx is showing a BIOS error indicated by the blinking Caps Lock light. The blinking pattern you mentioned (2 fast blinks followed by a pause, and then 3 slower blinks) is a diagnostic code specific to HP laptops, and it can help pinpoint the problem.

  • 2 fast blinks followed by a pause usually indicates a memory (RAM) issue.
  • 3 slower blinks often relates to a system board failure.

Here are a few steps you can take to troubleshoot the issue:

Check the RAM

  • Since the issue seems to point to memory, try reseating the RAM sticks. Make sure they're properly seated in their slots. If you have more than one stick of RAM, try testing each one individually to see if one is faulty.

Check for Loose Connections

  • Double-check all internal connections, especially the ones you might have disconnected during cleaning (e.g., the power cable, battery, or display cable).

Perform a Hard Reset

  • Disconnect the laptop from any power source, remove the battery (if possible), and hold down the power button for 15-20 seconds to discharge any residual power. Then, plug everything back in and try to turn it on.

BIOS Recovery

  • If reseating the RAM and checking connections doesn't resolve the issue, you might need to attempt a BIOS recovery. To do this:
    • Turn off the laptop.
    • Press and hold the Windows key + B and then press the power button while continuing to hold the Windows + B keys.
    • Keep holding the keys until the HP logo or BIOS recovery screen appears.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
