Pavilion 15 ce0002ne
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

i have been using my laptop for almost an year.

last night before going to sleep i just shut the screen and didn't turn off the laptop properly. after about 18 hours i opened my laptop but the screen remained black(the backlit keyboard was on). i waited a few seconds and then pressed the power button to switch off the laptop.

now when i try to turn it on the screen remains black, the power light switches on for second before switching off again. i can hear the fan turning on and off again almost immediately. this cycle keeps repeating itself until i press and hold the power button.

whenever i try the bios recovery method of holding the b and windows key, I get the 3.2 capslock code for damaged hardware(memory).

I need help asap cos im losing online classes.

@furqan99 Welcome to HP Community!

I understand that you are getting a black screen.

As you have stated that you have already performed the troubleshooting steps. Still having the same issue.

I would suggest you contact our phone support and check for the support option They will help you.

Or you can contact the local service center for repair.

Here is how you can get in touch with phone support.

1)Click on this link - www.hp.com/contacthp/

2)Select the product type.

3)Enter the serial number of your device or select let HP detect your product option.

4)Select the country from the drop-down.

5)You should see the HP phone support number or Chat option listed.

We are experiencing longer than expected wait times to reach an agent due to the CoViD-19 impact and there might have been issues in you getting the expected resolution on the issue.
