HP Gaming Pavilion - 15-dk0010tx
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hi, I'm having a problem with my HP Gaming Pavilion 15-dk0010tx. I have just updated the BIOS after being prompted and now, my notebook will not load anything (just a blank screen). My case is different from other blank screen issues posted previously as my OS, Win 10, is installed on my 256GB SSD - ADATA M.2 2280 SX6000NP Lite which has been working well since I bought this notebook in August 2019. I've gone through all the troubleshooting steps I could find on this website, on the manual, on youtube, etc. but to no avail. Please help me.

What I have attempted so far:

1. Hard reset (15sec power button hold)

2. Recover BIOS (Win+B and power on), also tried using USB recovery drive

3. Reseating my RAM

4. CMOS reset

5. Hard disk test using F2 System Diagnostics (it's a pass for my 1TB SATA HDD)

6. Enabling Legacy Support in F10 BIOS Setup

Additional notes:

1. Although I can still access BIOS Setup, System Diagnostics, Recovery, Boot Options by pressing F2, F9, F10, F11.. each of these only appears after 1 to 2 HOURS of waiting.

2. In BIOS and Boot Options, my SSD is not present (please note, as I mentioned above, it has been working well and I had this SSD installed since day 1 and installation was done by the same authorised dealer).

Hi @The_Fossette. Thanks for your reply. I've tried that but the problem remains.

@C84,

I recommend you remove the SSD and then boot the computer and check whether you are getting a display on the computer.

My OS is installed on my SSD. So, with my SSD removed, now it's asking me to install windows.

@C84,

It looks like the issue is with the SSD not getting detected. I recommend you reseat the SSD and check whether it helps.

If you continue facing the issue, then I recommend you contact support to further diagnose the issue.

Here is how you can get in touch with support.

1)Click on this link – www.hp.com/contacthp/

2)Select the product type.

3)Enter the serial number of your device or select let HP detect your product option.

4)Select the country from the drop-down.

5)You should see the HP phone support number or Chat option listed.
