Stream 14-cb007na
Microsoft Windows 10 (32-bit)

I've just setup my brand new HP stream 14-cb007na notebook. After switching it back on after i had set it up the screen goes blank after i input the security pin. Can anybody help?

Welcome to HP forums, I see that your new notebook screen goes blank after putting the pin.

 

Follow the below steps to fix this issue.

  1. Press CTRL+ALT+DEL keys.

  2. Click Task Manager.

  3. Click the Services tab.

  4. Locate and right-click App Readiness in the Name column.

  5. Select Stop from the menu.

To prevent this issue in the future, follow the below steps.

  1. Install HP Image Enhancement for System Logon using SoftPaq SP82019.

  2. Install all available Windows updates.
