This means that the driver which I suggested to you isn't supporting your model, but it was worth to at least try it.
Use the same procedure which I gave you in previous post but this time install driver which is here.

Dear Dean
I have a problem with Blue Screen showing up several times in the last few days. I followed your instructions and uploaded Minidump files here:
http://www.mediafire.com/download/zt12mz7attxdzoe/Minidump.zip
I have HP Pavilion dv6 and I suspect that the problem might be called by Synaptic TouchPad (I recently reinstalled the drivers as it stopped working) or HP Wireless LAN adapter (it appeared disabled before my laptop crashed).
I would be very grateful if you could help

Hi,
Please type in your next post notebook product number (p/n), add information which system are you using on this model and it would be good to know where you bought it (country).

Go to:
Control Panel -> Device Manager -> Network adapters
Right click Lan card and choose ' Properties '. Click the ' Driver ' tab and let me know which drivr version you see there. Next select the ' Details ' tab, use the dropdown selector to choose Hardware Ids. Paste values from there to your next post. Do the same thing for the WiFi card.
Below you've got example how to do it:

Note:
It is recommended that you uninstall always first previous versions of the driver before installing the newest version.
Resource:
Uninstalling Software in Windows 7
Uninstall or change a program in Windows 7
Download and install the latest Broadcom Wireless LAN driver from here.
Download and install the latest Realtek LAN driver from here (Win7 and WinServer 2008 R2 Auto Installation Program (SID:1581786))
Please download and install the latest HP UEFI Support Environment version from here.
Restart system and on the startup repeatedly press the F2 key. HP PC Hardware Diagnostics should run.
Choose from the list " Component Tests " -> " Hard drive" -> " Extensive Tests ".
When the test will fail then it means then you need to replace it with new one as soon as possible.
If your notebook has still valid warranty then please contact with HP. They will send you new HDD for free.

Hi Dean
Thank you for your advice. I did everything you suggested: uninstalled two wireless LAN drivers and installed their new versions. I also run Hard Drive tests, which all returned OK (ne problems found). I will continue to monitor my laptop and see what the updating of the wireless drivers did to it. Could you please let me know if reports from Minidump indicated problems with wireless drivers or there was somethign else I shoudl be aware of?

Hi again,
BSOD's were mostly caused by the Broadcom Wireless LAN driver.
I asked you to update Realtek driver, because I wanted to be sure that you will not have such problem for the second time if you will try to do such a thing by yourself.
One of the dump files was caused by Microsoft Intel processor (intelppm.sys) driver which is located in the C:\Windows\System32\drivers directory. It's part of Microsoft Windows, so it's good idea to check the system files.
To do this please click Start button, type in search box COMMAND, find COMMAND PROMPT at top of list, right-click it and select RUN AS ADMIN
Type:
sfc /scannow
and hit enter key.
Wait until the process will complete, type exit and press enter.
There were also two dump files which were generated in 2011.
First was cause by the ATI (currently owned by AMD) graphic driver.
Second was caused by Intel® Matrix Storage Manager or Intel® Rapid Storage Technology and was generated when the system was going to hibernation mode or switching from it to normal mode.
It depands which driver were you using at this time.
You do not need to worry about them because they were generated only once (2 years ago).

Dear Dan
Thank you for your help and very detailed answer. I checked the system files as you suggested - the test came back OK, no violations.
I will keep monitoring my laptop, but it appears that I do not need to worry about it too much right now.
Once again, thank you for taking time to deal with my problem.
Regards
Sergei
