I’m here to help you troubleshoot your issue and get things back on track. Just follow these steps below, and we’ll have you running smoothly in no time:
If your computer screen is blue and displaying an error message, it’s likely a Blue Screen of Death. This indicates a critical system error. However, if it’s just a solid blue screen without text, it could be a display driver issue or a problem with the monitor connection.
- Restart the computer - A simple restart can sometimes fix display issues.
- Boot in Safe Mode - Restart your computer in Safe Mode to check if the problem is caused by a display driver issue.
- Update or reinstall display drivers - In Safe Mode, update or reinstall your graphics card drivers.
- Check for overheating - Make sure your computer isn’t overheating, as this can cause display issues.
- Test for hardware - You can test the hardware using the UEFI tool available in the HP Hardware Diagnostics. If the issue persists after running the diagnostics, you may need to check the internal hardware components, such as the GPU or motherboard, for potential faults.
