HP notebook 17-bs019dx
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Was at the start of resetting computer to allow updates and canceled to close some open applications when the screen went unresponsive for about 2 minutes. I decided to be impatient and clicked on the power button and the rest is history. Never ending boot loop. At start-up the computer tries to diagnose problem and attempts to fix but attempts come up unsuccessful. I’ve ran extensive testing to each component and all have passed. I’ve tried. If the hard drive was somehow knocked out of socket and needed to be reseated the testing would not be able to pass, correct? Is my last resort to fix without installing windows. If I do a clean install will I lose any of my files or photos I’ve accumulated?
