I have had this laptop for not even a year and this is the first time this has happened to me. I was going about my regular business when the blue message above interrupted everything. Then it switched to the blackscreen message and refuses to go away. I've been on this website for an hour and a half now and have tried everything. I tried the "press f10 then f9" method. I also cannot do hard drive checks because it is informing me that there is no hard drive installed.

I need this laptop for college work, and many files I have on there I desperately need to keep.

There has yet to be a solution offered up that works for me. I am lost at this point.

Please help me get my laptop working again.

I'm not sure what the F10 and F9 method are-but it sounds like your hard drive has failed.Contact HP for warranty service:
