Product: HP EliteBook 8460p Base Model Notebook PC
Operating System: Linux
Hi guys, I recently bought a new 480 GB SSD for my Laptop (HP Elitebook 8460p) and Installed Linux Mint Cinnamon 21.2 (Victoria) on it from the usual USB method, however, I am receiving a message saying:
"Boot Device Not Found
Please install an Operating System on your Hard disk.
Hard Disk - (3FO)"
Can you guys tell me where I've gone wrong? and how to fix it, please?
I've done a few things, like removed, and then firmly reattached the new SSD, but to no avail, and have gone into the F10 settings and had a little tinker around - changed the boot order on a few of the options available, however still to no avail .
Your assistance in this matter would GREATLY be appreciated, all I want to do I use my Laptop with Linux Mint Cinnamon (21.2) as its OS. Please Help guys & gals.
Kind Regards
Mettin Mehmed
