Hello all! I was wondering if anyone had any troubles with their Hp laptop after it updated to windows 10? Ever since it automatically downloaded I have not been able to get into my home screen. It pops up as “Boot Device Not Found”. I’ve tried resetting my hard drive, but it says “not found”. Also I tried troubleshoot options and more advanced settings as trying to reset my computer all together. Does anyone have any options as to what it could be?

Hello @RiverJade08 and Welcome !
What you describe happens as often as the Sun rises, a.k.a this happens on a daily bases somewhere on our planet. This is very common issue and has always been like that. It's just in-place operating system upgrades are risky and are prone to failure.

This may be happening due to corrupted/missing operating system, BIOS/UEFI misconfiguration or hardware problem.
Let's start with testing your hardware. Use the F2 option as described in the video and perform fast/quick scan. If not available, check the memory and the hard disk storage drive. Let me know the results
