Fall of last year, my new laptop began encountering errors. I would put it to sleep and in a few hours the battery would drain completely. Then it started to have other problems. Whenever I would turn it on after a few hours it would just stay on the black loading screen with the hp logo (but no spinning dots). It still does that, but now when I turn it on it sometimes says bootdevice not found, and my laptop gets really hot and noisy. I've tried reseting my laptop and BIOS which hasn't fixed the problem. I also did the long diagnostics test which did not find any issues either. Please help!

would bring that in for a service somewhere. It might be that due to the drop the cooler isn´t any longer where it belongs to.

Update: I downloaded MalwareBytes and removed some PUP files. Then I reinstalled an older version of my display driver, which seems to have fixed the heat and noise problem. However, whenever I put my laptop to sleep for an extensive period, it still wakes up to a black screen (with hp logo but no spinning circles). I still need to force shut down and restart which is annoying.
