Hi All,
I own a HP ENVY x360 13-bdXXXX.
When I try to boot, I get the following error message "Boot Device Not Found Please install an operating system on your hard disk.
When I run system diagnostics it says that no storage device is connected. Also there is no disk shown in bios and Intel Rapid Storage.
When I boot a live linux from usb I can see the disk and access it without issues. When I install a linux distribution it wont boot.
I tried reinstalling windows. First the disk is not shown but when I install the rapid storage driver the disk is recognized and I can clear the disk and do a fresh windows install. But after reboot it shows the no boot device found error again.
After that I tried to reinstall my bios, that worked but did not resolve the issue.
Then I tried HP Cloud repair which also said it did a reinstall but when you click reboot again no boot device found.
Sorry for grammar etc not native 😉
