Hello ladies and gentleman,
Okay, so i am having an issue trying to boot Linux from a micro sdcard. Now I have properly flashed the microsd card and I have tried changing the lock switch (moving it up and down) on the SD adapter however when I boot my computer and enter into the bios and select boot options i can see my full size usb flash drive when i use that device, however i can not see my micro sd card available in the the Boot Options in the bios. So what I am wondering is there possible a bios update or something i am missing so that I may boot from a microSD card?
Thank you all so much for your time and your consideration

Oh and a second thing...i have a usb microSD reader and i have tried using that and seeing if the card pops up in the bios under boot options but still nothing shows up. So if anyone has any ideas it would be greatly appreciated. thanks again

The MicroSD card slot is available only for local storage -- it can not be used to BOOT the PC.
