Product: Probook x360

I have a Probook x360 that I want to enable booting from USB. This feature was greyed out, but I read a tip that you should create a boot password to enable it. So I did.
I created a very easy, straight forward password, and wrote it down on a paper. Entered it twice and saved. When I rebooted again, the password was not accepted. It is extremely unlikely that I could mix up that password.
Edit: Stupid me, Caps-lock was on... But why all these asterixis. I like to see what I write. Should be selectable. At least a caps-lock warning should be shown.
