I am getting a boot device not found. When I try to do the BIOS default restart my keys will not work or when I try to do the hard drive check my keys work but not proper enough for me to even do the check.

Please refer to Step 4 & 5 in this Link: https://support.hp.com/in-en/document/c01443463 to reseat the Hard drive and perform a Reset/Recovery

I just did step 4 and still getting the same message Boot device not found!

If you are unable to perform the Recovery and if the issue persists after reseating the Hard drive, please contact HP Support for Service Options

 

1) Click on this link - www.hp.com/contacthp/ 
2) Select your product type below.
3) Enter the serial of your device. 
4) Select the country from the drop-down. 
5) Select the chat or get phone number options based on your preferences. 
6) Fill the web-form and proceed further.
