Pavilion dv7
Microsoft Windows 7 (64-bit)

Did a clean install of Windows 7 64-bit on a brand new Silicon Power SSD. It will boot the operating system right after installation but rebooting after gives a "boot device not found" error. Can boot with install disc/USB present (select as boot device but ignore "press any key" prompt).

Hi

Is it cabled as the Primary Device, and the first in the boot sequence?

Does the F9 option find it?

What is the SKU of the machine please.

D'oh! Had it plugged into the #2 HDD port. It's in the correct port now and boots up every time. Thanks!
