Hp laptop 14-bs0xx

I dropped my laptop on the floor and when I powered it on it said

Boot device not found

Please install an operating system on your hard disk (3F0)

F2 system diagnostics

At that prompt run the selection of F2 to test the hard drive.  It could be the hard drive was damaged by the drop and needs to be replaced, especially if the laptop was running at the time of the drop.  If it fails the test, now would be a good time to replace the hard drive with a SSD, which as less susceptible to failure from a drop and much faster response times.
